I need to do a transfer shortly anyone know the answer as I know some banks have limits?

According to the help pages on their website it's £100K.
However, the T&Cs say this limit can be varied from time to time so you should call them and ask.0 -
It depends on your bank and you won't find out until you try it AFAIK. It can also vary.
I spoke with my bank about this as I need to transfer a large amount of money to NS&I from our house sale. They said they charge £25 for any transfer over £100,000, which I found annoying.
With Santander I have found that up to 30K usually goes through. I am setting up a Marcus account so will make several transfers to get up to the 85K amount I want to deposit.0 -

If you want to withdraw more than that, you need to call in working hours.
