You are running too many programs (processes) for the available memory. Increase your RAM, or reduce the number of programs running. Download HijackThis from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/hijackthis-installer.php by clicking the link (not the Google ads) and follow the usage instructions and post a log here.

to find out what you are running google process explorer and download.

It tells you everthing that is running, even the hidden stuff. Think of it as Task Manager on acid.

Now comes the hard work: right click on each process go into properties. If it is not obvious, copy the command line and paste it into google.

Now comes the really hard work: to decide if that process valid and also should be using up that much memory and/or cpu time?

Now the deadly stuff: disable/delete all the stuff that you don't want , you will find them in services, also use hijackthis and in some case explorer to delete files.

***warning*** don't remove or disable wrong things. Just because it works now, does not mean to say it will still work when you next boot it up. How do you know what is wrong? - google...., and google wide and deep! Keep you system installation disk handy.

All the answers are in google!!!
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time. ;)
