Apply for a new current account at HSBC

Recently, I've had a dispute taken place to both my accounts which are Lloyds and HSBC. Some person accused me of scamming him when providing him with a service, even though he received the service and I had a lot of evidence of me providing him with the service he paid for. (Note that while I was providing service to the person I applied for a business account) Anyways, Both banks locked my account and made me show evidence that I didn't scam the person and the dispute that was taken against me was unfair. So after some days collecting as much information as possible, I went to both branches on the same day and handed them over the evidence which then they said will take some weeks to review. While I was waiting for both banks to investigate my accounts, I was forced to open a bank with Monzo so I can pay for my bills and receive my salary. Unfortunately, I received a letter not long ago from HSBC saying that they are closing my account and they regret coming to this decision and it cannot be disputed, however with Lloyds, they recovered my account and made me update some personal information. It has been some weeks now and I've been wondering if I will get accepted if I make another application for HSBC. I really enjoyed banking with them but was extremely shocked that they closed my account even though I gave them everything they asked for.
Monzo is a good bank, but I want a bank which I can walk straight into the branch if I'm experiencing any sort of problems.
I've been looking at Metro Bank and NatWest.
Do you think HSBC will accept my application if i try to open a current account with them?

i might give it a year then reapply0

The only thing I hate about HSBC is how long it takes to get connected with someone on the phone. But apart from that, I love the bank0

Shame that they don't appear to love you back0

No HSBC will not accept a new application at this time so don't even bother.0

If HSBC has made the decision to cancel your banking services, then I don't think re-applying is the best idea at the moment. Maybe give it a year and see how things stand, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have a long memory for these sort of things. I'd pick another bank with branch access near you if that's important for you.0

I currently have a loads savings account, will they allow me to open a current account while I having a savings account with them.0

Nobody here knows what HSBC will or won't do. We can't even make educated guesses as you are drip-feeding information and we have no idea why they closed your account.
You can find out easily whether you can have a current account with HSBC. Just apply for one.0
