Conservatory and Porch wall leaning

Hi,
We are due to complete on a house next Friday and we went around for a final viewing today. I noticed a a gap between the conservatory and the house wall increasing in width up the wall suggesting the conservatory is leaning from the house slightly. The gap looks to be about 5mm at the top. This is on both sides of the conservatory. the same has also happened to a small wall at the front of the property which supports the porch.
We have had a builder look around the property (who didn't mention these) and a full damp survey completed which showed no issues.
There is the odd crack around the house, however nothing that looks significant that would indicate subsidence etc.
What are peoples opinions on this? Do we need to postpone the completion and get a survey completed? The house is around 25 years old. There is no documentation for the conservatory.

Have you exchanged contracts?0

No - not as of yet.0

So if you haven't exchanged contracts how do you know you are due to complete next Friday. It makes no sense because the completion date is agreed on exchange. Or were you hoping to exchange and complete on the same day?0

I'm no builder and a surveyor would be better placed to comment (not a damp surveyor! :rotfl:), but it looks like those walls have not been tied in to the main house so are free-standing, and have moved slightly.
They are not likely to collapse (in my ignorant view), and as they are not part of the main house, it does not sem a major matter.
What did your builder say when you sent him the photos?0 -
Find out who the builder of the house was an look up reviews on their build quality. That will also tell you if you are going to find other problems with it.0
