vinyl flooring

Options
Hey guys

I’m looking at getting vinyl flooring in my living room and hall way. At first I was looking at Karndean as it’s a brand I know but I’ve come across Polyflor which seems the same but a lot cheaper. Has any one got any experience with these or any other brands you’d recommend ?

Thanks

Polyflor is a good quality product that has received several positive comments in previous threads on the same topic. It is generally cheaper than Karndean but has a smaller choice of patterns.

Our usual, local, carpet and flooring shop stocks a number of ranges.

We had Blacktext fitted in the kitchen and in the bathroom a few months ago. Delighted.

  • We had vinyl fitted in our hall and lounge 15 years ago. It was a fairly good quality one, but nothing like karndean. It's got a bit of texture to mimic wood grain. We got it before karndean was popular, or certainly before I ever heard of vinyl in a lounge. It still looks good 15 years, one child, one dog and two cats later. I'm looking to change it because I fancy a different wood effect, but I would still go with just a decent vinyl rather than the more well known brands.

We’ve just fitted Moduleo- really pleased with the quality.
