Experian unable to verify

I have an account with Experian/CreditExpert which I used to pay a monthly fee for to see my report on a monthly basis. I cancelled this a long time ago however I would still log into Experian/CreditExpert now and then for a glance at my score. Since September for some strange reason it says it was unable to verify my identity? So I can't log in to see my full Experian report full stop. Is it just me or is this absolutely ridiculous!?

I have signed up for Credit Club and funnily enough my Credit Club account shows my Experian data with no issues at all. However I'd like to see the full report that Experian hold and not Credit Clubs. I have e-mailed and called them and their customer service is hopeless. I tried registering a new account with a different e-mail and that was denied too. I don't understand why I can't be verified when I have clearly used and subscribed to their system before. A quick look through their Twitter feed suggests I am not the only one who has this issue.

Any advice on getting this solved please?

There must be procedures in place to deal with problems such as this.
  • The report that the credit club shows is the same as the one from Experian.

You will need to contact Experian directly to resolve this. Request to see your statutory credit report - they are obliged by law to provide you with this information. If/when they are unable to verify your identity they will typically request documentation, provide this and it should resolve the issue - this is what I had to do to get access to my credit reports when I first moved to the UK.

    EDIT:
You should ignore your "score" (focus on the actual contents of your credit file) and definitely shouldn't pay for any services when you can get the same info for free. As mentioned above, MSE provides your Experian report, so all the same information should be available for free.
