No win no fee property dispute

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any no win no fee solicitors to assist us with pursuing David Wilson Homes for negligence?

Thanks

What sort of negligence? You don't get no win no fee for all types of claim.
  • Very brief overview
David Wilson Homes and their solicitors did not hand us over to the management company for 3 years, even after being informed. David Wilson informed the block that they would be managing all maintenance and would be responsible until handover but did not. We had no maintenance works, health and safety checks, We lost all communal lighting including emergency lights, the residents had to order euro bins for the bin sheds, all garden works were also carried out by us.

As a consequence 3 of my sales fell through because of the issue (have this in writing being the reason) their solicitors denied they needed to be involved for 8 months before trying to rectify the issue which entailed them taking 5 months to complete the correct forms with Land Registry.

    Thanks

What did it say in your orginal contract when you bought this property from Barratts about the management of the block?

Why did you buy a flat with no management company in place?
