Overcharged for leak detection

I had similar happen to me and funnily enough their hourly charge was £144 too so wondering if they were the same company

They scammed me out of £400.

They were threatening and go debt collectors involved and I also received a latter regarding libellous comments (which they weren’t)

It was a horrible long experience and I didn’t have the energy to fight it at the end

Well now (2 days after the review was made) he has filed a claim though moneyclaims for the courts for damages claming £5000 the defendant has "slandered our company" and on a google website and misrepresented our company. They also claim they "have never done any work for the defendant" (despite invoice and bank statements to the contrary). Including £1500 loss or earnings and £2000 for defamation of character

Also saying she "has been asked to remove the review on several occasions but has refused"

2 days a review online and this! I suppose all she can do now is get solicitors involved.

Has your friend received papers from the court?

How factual was the 'outline' review? Dot the i's and cross the t's. As close to exact times, exact amounts, exact quotes as possible. NOT paraphrasing and not rounding up or down.

If you can evidence it, post it everywhere with gay abandon.

This was my thread on PistonHeads. They are absolute crooks. I think they get a thrill from attending court and scaring people.
Just looking at their Facebook profiles which they leave public is enough to give anyone a clear indication of the type of people these are
