Quiet fridge freezer, best brands and best place to buy please

Sorry if this has been done recently, but i went back 14 pages and couldn't see any threads. We're moving house at the end of the month and can actually fit a freestanding fridge freezer in our new kitchen rather than the rubbish under counter one we have had.
The kitchen/living space is open plan so i'm looking for something as quiet as possible. I think we can go up to £450. I'd like 50/50 or 60/40 i think, as currently have a chest freezer so used to a largish freezer space.
I've taken a fancy to this Haier one but don't know the brand - https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/refrigeration/fridge-freezers/haier-a3fe635cmj-60-40-fridge-freezer-stainless-steel-10160237-pdt.html
I've had a look on Which for best buys and the brands coming up in my price range are mainly Hisense, Samsung and Hoover.
is a water dispenser worth the trade off for space?
Any recommendations of where to purchase from, Currys seem to have relatively good prices.
Any help gratefully received, there are just so many options! Thanks.

I bought a Hisense (from AO) over 3 years ago 50/50 split frost free fridge freezer,
Still working well and not having to defrost either fridge or freezer is a real bonus, so please with it have bought a 50" Hisense TV.0 -
The noise level is usually shown in the specifications, the one you linked to certainly has that. So look for ones with lower numbers.
I wouldn't be without a water dispenser (& ice) but we have a big fridge/freezer so the space isn't so critical.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
We bought a new american style Samsung fridge freezer earlier this year. The compressor is really quiet but it does occasionally make a dripping sound which is quite loud. Doesn't do it very often though.0

Are you keeping your chest freezer? If so I would opt for a large fridge, not a fridge/freezer, unless you mean a wide American style one. Even then, check the fridge part is of a good size.
Ordinary fridge/freezers are far too small on the fridge part IMO, especially if there are more than 2 of you.
And if, like me, you are vertically challenged, make sure you can reach the top shelf!0 -
If it were me, based on past brand experience i'd go for something from Bosch, like this https://www.bootskitchenappliances.com/product/kgn34nw3ag-bosch-serie-2-fridge-freezer-white-48956-28.aspx?gclid=Cj0KCQjw0brtBRDOARIsANMDykaSvYb-A_GhNHKKA4KDHGR4gsdiCDPllMyLBDL_CFCLQTpOcIPLHigaAomcEALw_wcB&&WT.z_PT=MDA&WT.z_AT=fridge%20freezers%20frost%20free&WT.z_MT=Search&WT.z_MAT=Bosch&WT.z_FT=Free%20Standing&WT.z_PC=KGN34NW3AG_WH&WT.srch=1&WT.z_KW=KGN34NW3AG_WH&WT.z_DT=c&WT.z_RTM=PLA&ef_id=Cj0KCQjw0brtBRDOARIsANMDykaSvYb-A_GhNHKKA4KDHGR4gsdiCDPllMyLBDL_CFCLQTpOcIPLHigaAomcEALw_wcB:G:s&&WT.z_CN=PLA%20SC%20-%20Fridge%20Freezers%20-%20BT&WT.z_AG=PLA%20SC%20-%20Fridge%20Freezers%20-%20Bosch0

thanks for the replies. No space for the chest freezer unfortunately and can't wait until the end of November as move on 1st and could go a few days with no freezer, but i reckon a month might be pushing it!0

I got a new fridge freezer earlier this year. When I was researching, it seems that frost free are noisier than the 'normal' ones, because the compressor runs for more of the time, and they have a fan to do the frost free bit. so this might be worth bearing in mind.0

Having researched this recently, boots kitchen appliances are basically ao.com with ~£20 off the price.
I chose a samsung one again as my previous one lasted 12 years.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
