Calamine for my balance xfer itch ?!

I've got an itch to mess around with my existing balance transfer card arrangements - and hoping to get some sage advice to sooth it.
Currently, I have 2 cards which I previously transferred balances to.
Both have monthly direct debits with a payment amount that will clear the balances before the end of the 0% period.
Card #1 is offering another balance transfer - so I could transfer the balance from card #2 to it, and have one consolidated card and one monthly payment.
Benefits I see:
- 1 monthly card payment only, which will get paid off a few months earlier than the current setup, as the 0% offer is sooner (and I can cover this small monthly payment increase okay).
- It reduces my overall exposure to credit on my file as I can close card #2 (I have a good credit score currently, with no issues being offered other cards, etc)
Drawbacks:
- It'll cost me £80 for the balance transfer to card #1
I guess I should just leave it alone as let the current setup run its course.
But, for some reason I have this nagging itch to throw £80 away, just to have things a little tidier!

So you'd like convenience, and that convenience comes with a price tag of £80. Is the convenience worth £80 to you? If so, do it. If not, don't.
I wouldn't pay that if it was me. But you're not me. Only you can decide the value to you.0 -

Yes, that's about it. And I guess because I haven't done it yet means it's probably not worth it I'll forget about it and move on, unless/until card #1 drops their xfer rate !0
