Having registered keeper and main driver the "wrong way round"?

We have 3 cars, which is one-and-a-half too many for our needs, but anyway....

They are all insured by the same insurer, which entitles us to a MC discount on each.

At different times we have swapped main-user status depending on jobs, house moves, schools etc. but the keeper's name has always remained the same for each car.

In all practical senses this has never caused any problems, except that our insurer (esure) has NEVER been able to get the paperwork right. According to their staff, their systems are INCAPABLE of printing the details correctly, even when they are entered correctly onto the IT systems. We'd have changed insurer but esure has been 20% cheaper than any other, on each vehicle, for the last 5 years.
