Smart meter issues
Scottish power (who I already was a customer of) told me I had to have a Smart meter when I changed tariff through this website. There is nothing saying this on the site! Had a very long conversation and told them to put me back on old tariff. Contacted them again and was told a smart meter wasn't wasn't compulsory so again after about an hour on internet and phone calls signed back to same cheap tariff with uswitch as couldn't use same site twice. (Lost the Moneysaving cashback). However I am still getting emails and phone calls - which I have told them to stop in view of the hours I spent on the phone being told they are NOT compulsory! Not happy!
