Hi I recently was turned down for pip the report was full of lies .. I had an esa assessment just before the pip one and when looking at both reports (diff benefits I know) esa have wrote I’m under a specialist for 2 of my problems pip has wrote I’m under my gp. Pip assessor has also missed medication off so my medication side effects don’t match the right medication will dwp know they have lied as I’ve sent my esa report along with a letter from my gp for my mandatory reconsideration. Thanks

Only 18% of MR decisions change so you'll most likely have to take it to Tribunal Appearing in person will give you the best chance of a decision in your favour.Butterfly28x wrote: »Hi I recently was turned down for pip the report was full of lies .. You're right ESA and PIP are different benefits with different criteria. Did you previously have a PIP award or was this a first time claim?0 -
It was a first time claim I know it’s a different benefit but it’s full of lies and when you compare it to the esa one you can see it’s full of lies i don’t mean the descriptors. I’m aware I’ll probably be unsuccessful with mr but I have citizens advice helping me so trying not to stress. Thanks for replying0

You should avoid mentioning any lies or contradictions that may have been told in the report, DWP and Tribunal, if it gets that far won't be interested in any of those. You can't prove what did or didn't happen during the assessment.Butterfly28x wrote: »It was a first time claim I know it’s a different benefit but it’s full of lies and when you compare it to the esa one you can see it’s full of lies i don’t mean the descriptors. What you should do is state where and why you should have scored those points and your reasons why. Adding a couple of real life examples for each descriptor that applies to you will also help.

Citizens advice have done the mr and are sending it in I was just wondering wether they will see that the assessor has lied because it’s clear to see from the esa report even citizens advice have said this0

That's impossible to answer that, it will totally depend on whether you meet the descriptors for an award. Only 18% of MR decisions change so it's unlikely at this stage.Butterfly28x wrote: »Citizens advice have done the mr and are sending it in I was just wondering wether they will see that the assessor has lied because it’s clear to see from the esa report even citizens advice have said this0 -
A related question that always goes through my head when I read about reports being full of lies: although the DWP and the tribunal don't care, is it grounds for a complaint to the assessing company? It just seems madness that these assessors appear to be getting away with it! I know not everyone has such bad experiences but it is evidently not a rare, occasional experience either. (Probably a hypothetical question because I understand appealing these decisions takes enough energy as it is. I just can't help but wonder.)0

Of course a complaint can be made to the assessment providers about the reports but don't expect a response from them.Spoonie_Turtle wrote: »A related question that always goes through my head when I read about reports being full of lies: although the DWP and the tribunal don't care, is it grounds for a complaint to the assessing company?
