You should check that against the OFCOM rules .0 -

I thought Virgin Media was a sneaky nasty company but it seems BT are as well. I'm now stuck on a contract that I have had for 2 months and an important part is no longer available to me. I'm moving to a rural area so using a mobile as an only phone is not an option.
It is incorrect to say that "all existing BT customers are losing inclusive weekend calls".
That call package is no longer available for new customers, and it cannot be swapped to by existing customers who are already on some other BT call package, but those customers who are already on it can retain it UNLESS they make some other change to their overall contract with BT, then it will no longer be available as part of that new deal.
Presumably you have made some other change that has triggered the latter circumstance, such as moving to a new address and therefore, effectively, starting a new contract?0 -
I am currently on anytime calls and DO use my landline. The 500 minutes anytime would suit me fine as I normally use 50-100 max minutes per month, seems cheaper than the existing anytime package, and now includes mobiles. Broadband 18 month contract runs its time in February when my line saver also needs renewing. Watching with interest.0

Assuming that you have a) a mobile phone and b) wi-fi
The poster mentioned he could not rely on his mobile.0
