Beware all zip car users

I've seen a few threads about zipcar (flex) and the way they operate in respect of parking fines. I am now leaving zip car and would encourage others to do the same.
The parking rules are so confusing from borough to borough in respect of pay and display and residents parking. To make it worse the company is taking 4 months to notify customers of PCNs. The consequences are:
1. People continue in their misunderstanding of the stupidly complicated rules and receive repeated fines for the same simple mistake.
2. Their victims miss the 50% discount window
3. Zip car add another £15 on for the privilege of sending you the ticket 4 months after the event
I have been a heavy user of zip car over the last 6 months and dread to think how many PCNs have been issued to me without my knowledge. I expect I will be thousands of pounds out of pocket.
It is a great idea to get cars off the road however in reality it will leave their customers hugely out of pocket whilst making a tidy profit for themselves and the local authority boroughs

I appreciate you are trying to help and warn others, but it might help if you explained what a zip car is. I have never heard of them.
We specialise in private parking charges here on MSE. If you need help with that, you are in the right place. If you need help with council parking tickets than pepipoo.com is the best place to be for help.I married my cousin. ZipCar is a company who hire out vehicles, I think. Needs complaints to the BVRLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
