I had the same. Was the survey with Homeserve/Landmark?.
Yes it is Landmark. I will enquire what the report will comprise and go from there.
They’ve written a very alarming report! Which is their job to do based on the actual location of risk. It’s now for me to try and make a balanced decision on it. But I don’t know what to do!0 -

You're probably dealing with the Paralegal at the moment and not the Solicitor.
The Solicitor wouldn't get bogged down in such trivial matters.0 -

Nope, this was from a direct email from the solicitors direct email address. They are so far very quick and responsive. And things are going quickly, which is great.0 -
Don't know if you've seen this but there is information on here about surface water flooding:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/flood-risk-maps-for-surface-water-how-to-use-the-map
Basically if you input half the postcodes in Britain they will be close to or subject to instances of surface water flooding.
You can also check flood risk from rivers and the sea on the GOV website. Obviously a lot of people aren't aware of this as they wait for searches before discovering their dream home is in a flood plain0
