All tyres will crack eventually but Continental seem to have a particular reputation for cracking between and around the treads.

For normal driving you won't notice much difference between premium tyres.

there are some very good mid range tyre brands, Vredestein, Hankook, BF Goodrich, etc etc.
No point in paying premium prices for a Quashqai.
Get tyres rotated each service or MOT to even out wear so they do not get too old.

Where in the country are you?
Mich Primacies are cheaper than the Contis - I've always found Contis to wear fairly quickly, too.
If you're somewhere that gets anything but very mild winters, I think I'd be tempted by the Mich CrossClimates for the same price as the Contis within a few pence.

If you want to save a few quid (and I don't agree with the "no point in good tyres" comment - there's plenty of point on EVERY car), then the Avons, or Uniroyals if you're in a very wet part of the country.

I found this tyre with your specification here and they are selling 4 for £ 447.28. Yes, it is 215/55R18 and its model is ContiPremiumContact 2. However, there are options are appearing where you can check the tyre which suits your vehicle. We are not sure about your preferred speed and load index then it is better to put all the information here yourself and then, you would able to make price comparisons.
