Certainly wish we'd had it in our last house!

Recently done my bathroom with the Warmup variety which seem to be the market leaders at the moment
The tiles are 1cm thick porcelain tiles and I wasnt exactly expecting too much as I was advised the underfloor heating only takes the chill off the tile
True there isnt a lot of heat but Im pleasantly surprised how good it is. It wont heat the room but its lovely on these cold mornings when the underfloor is set to come on timer in the mornings
I love it.....havnt used a lot but to be honest I couldnt do without it now
Easy to install yourself just wire up to a normal plug
Depending on your substrate you may need floor insulation so that the tiles heat up quicker....I was tiling onto floorboards covered by WBP plywood so no need for insulation in my case
Hope this helps0 -

we are looking to lay 50sqm of tiling with underfloor heating. The area is a kitchen/family room together with the hallway and cloakroom. We are getting conflicting information re the insulation side of things.. been recommended heat reflective paint through to insulating boards.
Its a brand new house... any thoughts would be appreciated as need to order very soon... completing on the 19th!
Thanks : )0
