Hello people,
Last weak I applied with my bank HSBC for a credit card, they verbally approved me over the phone and told me a limit I had been given, today I have received the paperwork to sign which in the cover letter confirms I have been approved.
Later down the letter it says 'Your card will be sent out within 10 days subject to status'. Any ideas what the subject to status means, have I not already been CRA checked etc?

They might still be waiting for Hunter and CIFAS checks to be done.
These usually run overnight after the applications have been put onto systems.
