Refund

Hi, so I purchase a pair of "country" boots online from Az. These are advertised as 'yard boots' and 'dog walking' boots. They are knee high and leather.

I wore them once dog walking through a field with morning dew. Got home to sodden socks and dye had come off them.

I asked you send them back, Amazon gave the go ahead and then I get a message from the seller saying they are not advertised as waterproof so therefore I am not entitled to a refund as they were worn ONCE!

I explained they leaked just normal dog walking (it was not raining) and still they are having non of it. Surely if something is advertised as a every day country boot then at least they should be moisture proof and the should not leak nor dye run. I sent them back and they will not refund! The even implied I didn't spend enough... They were £70

    So, welcome to the forum.

It may depend on which country they were designed for. Some country's are much dryer than the UK. So, where did you buy them?

I take it that you applied some waterproofing treatment to them? And did not just wear them straight out of the box.

If you are walking in leather boots in the wet, then they need treating 1st.

Walking my dogs. I find that dew on the grass is worse than walking in the rain. As it soaks straight though, bit like walking in deep puddles.

Got s link to the boots?
