Waste outside new house

Shock Horror - sand found on building site. They have left the footpath where you will walk clear which is very considerate of them. A lot of it will wash down into the joints and they will sweep the remainder along to the next bit they do. Some people really need to understand the reality of living on an active building site before they move in.0

I would be out there sweeping it up into bags and putting to one side. As you will need it at some point

Ah I think you need to contact the Ministry of Unwanted Kiln Dried Sand.which government agency deals with matters such as this?
*It's not waste, and it's more expensive than common ordinary sand.0 -
Think of it this way- sandcastles...0

Why would the Local Authority be interested in an issue on Private Land? Speak to the builders.0

OP - I'm sure this poster would like your problem with "waste" instead of theirs!0 -
If it really bothers you get a hosepipe out.
I know it's probably a bit more "three dimensional" than the pictures show but is it really that bad?0 -
Probably best not to hosepipe it off, not until the sand between the blocks has settled, or you're potentially going to wreck the block paving. Best leave it well alone and let nature or the builders take care of it.
If it's still there when the site is handed off, then remind them about it then.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0 -
OP - off topic but, seeing how much your cctv cvers which isn't your property, have yu read the guidance and requirements at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/domestic-cctv-using-cctv-systems-on-your-property/domestic-cctv-using-cctv-systems-on-your-property0
