One issue you have with light pruning is you end up needing to do it more often.
Fine if you are happy to do that yourself but when paying people/managing company you tend to want to keep cost down, that means bushes get a good haircut once or twice a year.
This time of year not having windows partially covered will improve light.
When it starts coming back if that bothered you could engage in some light trim/shaping to restore what you like.0 -
