NHS 1995 Pension options

Mortgage statement?
Sorry lol it was almost 2am and I’d been worrying about this all day.
My major problem is I have no idea what I was earning 15 yrs ago. I know I was on the highest health visitor grade back then, and when nhsdirect employed me they agreed to pay me the same amount as I turned them down on their original offer.
I was only on the 1995 pension scheme as well- left in 2005 and pension deferred since then .0 -

Why not just do as Lee suggests (post 9) and apply for a pensions forecast?0 -
OP- Your wife has a couple of options, if she plans taking her NHS pension she could retire and return, or she could continue in current role and double up- each year after 55 counting a 2 years. Up to a maximum of 45/80. I'm 56 and have now got 42/80 pension built up. I requested a forecast and the figures suited me so I'm retiring and returning. On return I'll be enrolled into NEST pension.
Pension Officer I sat down with last week- 20 mins to prove mine and Mrs CRV identity and marriage- told me most drop out of the NEST pension, I did say I won't because I will take the employers contribution and then likely draw down the NEST pot before SPA.
Almost_free- Do as suggested and request a forecast.CRV1963- Light bulb moment Sept 15- Planning the great escape- aka retirement!0 -

As an HV you would have been on a Band 6 I would expect. Quick google of 2005 pay scales and I found this:
https://www.nhsemployers.org/tchandbook/annex-1-to-3/annex-3-pay-bands-and-pay-points-on-the-second-pay-spine-in-england-from-1-april-2005
Scroll down the document and there is a table of salaries on 01/04/2005, so that should give you an idea of the salary you were on then.0
