Portugal honeymoon with toddler

I’m looking for a suitable hotel / beach resort for a honeymoon holiday in Portugal (probably algarve region) for August 2020.
There would be a toddler in the party so need a family friendly option.
Can anyone recommend anything?

Look on Tripadviser, there's only you that knows what you like.0

Would you clarify, is this for a couple with one toddler (which seems odd for a honeymoon) or a bigger party that happens to include a toddler. I'm asking because it depends what you're hoping to get out of this. For example do you want to spend time as a couple with romantic dinners and sightseeing and relaxing by a pool or a family holiday with kids clubs and all inclusive buffets?0

I know a cracking tapas restaurant in Praia da Luz, if that helps.0

The latter.
It’s a larger group incorporating a honeymoon. More like a ‘family-moon’.0 -
Take a look at the Monchique Resort and Spa. Often some good deals there too.MSE aim: more thanks than posts :j0

Depends on budget.
Friend & I (females, both 60s) stayed here in June with Jet2 Holidays, so good value.

Its a big hotel, based on very spacious, well equipped self catering apartments - among the best I've stayed in in Europe. It also offers various board basis, which we didn't try, but restaurant was always busy but not full to bursting. Has self service launderette & 2 swimming pools - one child friendly & some sort of kids club.
Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance, and a supermarket. Area is not bursting with night life. Hotel laid on entertainment on several evenings.
Fabulous Falesi beach within walking distance, or by free shuttle bus. Also run a free bus into Albufeira, though there are some local buses.
For what we paid, our expectations were low. They were massively exceeded and we would happily go again.0 -

Portuguese tapas?!
I once had this in Tavira. One of the worst things I've ever eaten ..
The Algarve will be very hot in August btw, it's not unknown for it to reach 400 -
