I have received Parking Charge Notice for parking in my own bay

I live in West London in a private development. I have a dedicated parking bay but we have to display permits in the dash.
Unfortunately, my permit slid off the dash and I received a PCN. I appealed to the parking operator and even shared a copy of my V5 which shows the address where the car is registered, i.e. proving that I had parked in the bay allotted to me.
Unfortunately my appeal has been rejected. I can appeal to POPLA but then I will lose the option of paying a reduced charge.
Can anyone please advise what can I do to avoid paying the penalty charge?

It's not a penalty.
Why do you display a permit to park in your own space?
Do you need a permit to flush the lavatory after 10pm? Watch tv after 11pm? Run a Bath deeper than 4 inches?
Check the lease/rental agreement what does it say about parking? From the Plain Language Commission:

Start by reading your lease/AST to see what it says and doesn't say about parking, parking permits, and whether the scammers can issue charges and start court proceedings.
Complain to the MA/landowner who employed the scammers.
Construct a PoPLA appeal using all the template points available to you from post 3 of the NEWBIES.
Do a forum search for "own space", setting the search criteria to "show posts".
Read what judges have said about residential parking.

You should read the sticky thread for NEWBIES before starting a thread, which is what it asks you to do.
Post 1 of the NEWBIES explains how to make an initial appeal, landowner complaints, and complaints to your MP.
Post 2 of the NEWBIES deals with court.
Post 3 of the NEWBIES deals with the second stage appeal to PoPLA for BPA members.
Post 4 of the NEWBIES deals with debt collectors.
Post 5 of the NEWBIES deals with common parking abbreviations and acronyms.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
