Help needed with halifax please!!!

This week i recieved 2 letters from the Halifax telling me i had gone overdrawn which yes is my own fault!!
However the charges are ridiculous:
The first one was a cheque for 36 pound which they allowed to go through and are charging me 30 pounds for it on the 30th november and then they are charging anothe 28 pounds on the 31st of december as an unauthorised overdraft charge!
The next day i recieve another letter telling me a paypal payment 0f 2.99 has failed and they will charge me 39 pounds on the 6th of december.
I am fuming:mad:
Can someone please please give some advice on what to do
