Son's Wages & Child Tax Credits

Hi.
I was signed off from work and am awaiting spinal surgery. I have been granted ESA & PIP and get the usual Child Tax Credits/Child Benefit.
My son (18 about to turn 19) attends full time college but has just taken up a job to help pay for his car costs.
His job will be 2 or 3 eight hour shifts (so 16 or 24 hours) per week, but he did 4 shifts plus 4 hours last week as he had to be trained.
Overall, if he sticks to the 16 or 24 hour average, will this affect my Child Benefit/Tax Credits?
I've literally only just got my money matters ironed out (after much fighting with the system) and can't cope with any more hassle right now! Any help greatly appreciated!
