Weird Billing ?

I give my electric meter readings once per month and a few days later the bill is " Generated " however the money doesn't get taken until two weeks later, why is this ? :money:

    It sounds like you pay by variable Direct Debit. I believe they have to give you 10 working days notice of how much money they're going to claim from your bank. Hence why it takes about 2 weeks from your bill until the payment is taken.
