I have just sent this to TopCashBack - Disapponted that your Masters of Malt comp is not available in Scotland. I think you are misunderstanding Alcohol Legislation is Scotland. I have raised this with the Scottish Government in the past and they say there are no restrictions on Alcohol as prizes in competitions as long as the prize is not consumed on the premises. The restrictions in shops and restaurants are solely related to price and the practice of buy one get one free. The legal advice I received when I queried this was - The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 bans a promotion that offers alcohol as a “reward or prize” unless “the alcohol is in a sealed container and consumed off the premises”. I think your legal team or Masters of Malt should read the legislation before preventing Scottish TopCashBack users from entering Alcohol related competitions.
