...and besides...you don't have to respond to an SMS. If it were me, I would just block the number. If they want to correspond with you properly, then they will have to write to you, via Royal Mail...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Could be them phishing for information. Don't contact them as they will extract information from you to pin a debt on you. Wait for them to write to you.
Do you think that you may owe money to any companies - phone, credit cards?::A0 -
Most likely it's a wrong number that could have been got there a number of ways. It isn't a scam, and you can block it, though you could call and tell them it's a wrong number and to delete it. You don't need to give them any more information than that, you can give your name as you know they want someone else, ask for the operators name and confirmation the number has been deleted. Then you have reason for further action if it is not complied with.0

As above, it's either a scam or a wrong number. Either way if Cabot is doing things properly then they will write to you and then you contest the debt on the ground of it not beings yours. Ignore/delete/block the text and don't click the link. And definitely don't reply/call any phone numbers in the message, get their actual contact number from their website or another reputable source.0
