Admirsl Insurance payment processing times

Hi
I am with Admiral for my van insurance. I bank with Nationwide. I pay monthly. On my Account page with Admiral it says payment date is 14th of every month, yet they often start processing it around the 9th and it takes them ages to take it. This month it took until today-the 16th!. I have a lot of outgoings-they all go for the payment and take it same day. This includes other insurers.Im self employed and making sure 70 quid is constantly in my account for that length of time is a nightmare. Anyone know why this is happening?
