Hi,
I am trying to set up a scheduled task for Ad-Aware, I had a one set before, but have just installed Ad-Aware 2007 and need to set up a new one, but I keep getting this message:

I am only person using the computer (XP), and have other tasks set up, can’t remember if I ever used a password, as I don’t use one to log on.
Is there any way to find password, or way round error message.
Thanks for now.

Hi,
thanks for reply, yes XP SP2, had a quick look, going to check to see if I have that update, and will try the hotfix.
Thanks.0 -
Hi,
couldn't find that particular update on my machine, so didn't want to use the hotfix, as it came with various warnings.
Ended up setting up a password, and task working fine now, only thing is I now have to log on, even though only me using machine.
Thanks again.0 -
You can get it to automatically log on to your machine using one of these three solutions.
Personally I would go for the TweakUI method0 -
Hi,
funny, I have just recently downloaded that .Net Framework, as I needed it to run a wee programme from, filehippo, so maybe that had something to do with it.
Anyway I went into User Accounts, and removed password, so'll see what happens.
Thanks.0
