I think that there is a high probability that this letter originated from Cabot Financial to get you to contact them.

Impersonating the courts seems like a terrible idea though, doesn't it?

Not saying you're wrong but that would be sailing VERY close to the wind at best.

    Hi everyone
    I have question.
Today I have been received letter by royal mail from HM courts and tribunals service saying
    CASE NUMBER.....CABOT FINANCIAL V ME
URGENT COURT MATTER-DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE
Urgent documents are being held at County Court at Northampton for your attention. You can collect these documents in person from the open counter.
If you unable to collect please email at northamotnbailiff@justice.gov.uk
OR telephone on ......... quoting your name Case number and postcode to arrange delivery

Anybody have idea what I can expect???
    Should I collect the letter?
    It will be either

an application for an attachment to earnings

    or

    an order to obtain information

Have you noticed the e mail address?
I would expect it to say Northampton not what is written?
The correct email address seems to be

    bailiffs.northampton.countycourt@justice.gov.uk
"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein
  • justice.gov.uk is the email domain for HMCTS/MoJ so it looks legit enough to me.

As previously mentioned it will be something for personal service on you OP.

You have the cae number, call the Northampton CC confirm your identity and they will tell you if it's a Warrant or AoE application.
