Rangemaster hood bulb problem

So I've a rangemaster hood, the 110cm one, and it has 2 LED spotlights. Recently one of them has gone dim - about half the brightness of the other.
Anyone else seen this and know what might cause it? I can order a new bulb of course (assuming I can get the fiddly spring clip off!) but not sure if they might be fed by a transformer for example.

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.

Most likely, it's just the lamp failing. The individual LEDs don't last that long if they are allowed to get hot. The power supplies within them often use the cheapest components.
You might find that removing the clip and wiggling the lamp fixes it. Otherwise buy a replacement lamp.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
