Hello I have just done a comparison with 3 different sites

1 Uswitch
2 Cheap energy club
3 Energyhelpline

I was specifically looking at Avro as a new supplier
To my surprise all 3 sites offered different deals

Avro with Uswitch is Simple and Usuperior

Gas 2.7
Electric 13.3
S.Charge 23.1 per day
Exit fees 0

Avro with cheap Energy Club is Simple and Supersave

Gas 2.8
Electric 12.9
S.Charge 15.7 per day
Exit fees 0

Avro with Energyhelpline is Simple and Eselect

Gas 2.7
Electric 13.6
S.Charge 20.9 per day

Exit fees £25 per fuel

So does every comparison site have it's own unique deal ?
This is so confusing and deliberately so I think

  • Hi,

did you use actual kwh figures or monthly DD for comparison.

Use your actual kwh and work out cost using the quoted prices, but at a glance looks like the middle one will be cheapest, cheaper st.ch. and cheaper electric.

Always use an Ofgem accredited energy comparison site. The full list has been posted a few times on this site. e.g.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6042611/low-standing-charge (post#13)

Use acouple or more to strive to get consistent results.

Yes some comparison sites may have tariffs only available through them.

e.g. using Energyhelpline, I can find:

Simple and Supersave (ensure you are looking at all suppliers & tariffs)
    and
Simple and Eselect (this is clearly marked as "exclusive")

Also found Simple and Supersave listed on uSwitch results too ;)
