Patio cleaning

My garden is almost entirely concreted over. The concrete is quite uneven and, annoyingly, drains either towards the side of the house or to random low point in the main garden. This means an accumulation of garden 'mud' (soil, moss, leaves etc.) has just ended up on the concrete and when I try to clean it I seem to just end up moving most of it around.

Yesterday I was trying to clean the patio with a combination of a bit of water and a broom and whilst I could remove some of the sludge with a spade, there is still this sort of muddy sheen left behind.

Anyone got any tips for how to clean it properly? A giant squeegee springs to mind, but they mainly seem to be for indoor use and I don't want to buy one if it'll just fall apart.

The goal is to take up the concrete one day but I have other things to prioritise at the moment!
