UKPC anyone else paid then received notice too pay again

I paid a parking charge to UKPC - it was fair. I then got a notice saying not paid and despite sending them a copy of my receipt for payment on 27th May 2019, was sent a document showing in a red box payment was "refunded/declined" on 7th June. Bank statements showing payment and around transactions around 7th June clearly showing no such refund or declined payment got me nowhere. A letter from my bank stating categorically that payment was made and there was never a refund or declined payment was disputed and a debt collection letter received but the reason was not changed that I had made a chargeback on 7 June (I have never made a chargeback). Robust challenges with the help of resolver and a request for them to file for court action so that I could issue a counterclaim for the time and distress caused backed up by a letter from my solicitor then produced - sorry we made a procedural error. Is my case a one off and a genuine procedural error or are UKPC doing this to others too? If so this could be a case of UKPC acting illegally and or fraudulently to obtain money by deception ( I have read UKPC have historical form for this). - would like to hear from others

UKPC are known for this and have been banned by the BPA and DVLA several times

however , money talks , the DVLA want there £2.50 s , the BPA are fast running out of members and need all they can get

will your case be repeated ? YES

Having seen many UKPC signs and read many of their antics, I doubt that the charge you received was fair. I am baffled as to why you think it was, or why anyone would pay such a bunch of scammers.

This whole forum is dedicated to fighting unfair parking charges rather than what to do after someone had rolled over and paid. There is certainly no need for a poll.

The whole private parking regime is unregulated and unfair. I suggest if it happens again you research how to fight it rather than just pay up.

You should also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

The blue badge scheme does not apply on private land. Why would not displaying something that is not required be your fault? Did the signs comply with the BPA CoP and were therefore capable of forming a contract?
Was there a sign visible from the driver's seat stating it was a bay only for disabled users?
Were all other CoP requirements adhered to?
Do UKPC have a contract with the landowner that allows them to issue charges?
Were all the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 adhered to with regards to disabled motorists?

And you think it fair that a private company financially benefits to the tune of £60-£100 for you parking in a disabled bay, to which, as a disabled person, you have a full legal entitlement to use, with or without a blue badge on display.

Read the Equality Act 2010 ...... and wise up. It might save you some money!

I cannot see any offensive remarks. You appear to have posted a POLL, rather than a question.

I do not believe you have received any offensive remarks. You stated you believe the charge was fair. I do not believe it to be so. That is why I have queried the circumstances that gave rise the charge and suggested reasons why it was not fair in the first place.

This is a parking ticket forum. We help people who have received unfair parking charges. I believe you received such an unfair charge, and I was trying to obtain more information about it, but you seem intent on agreeing with a bunch of scammers that you were wrong and they were right, even though you have not answered any of my questions or produced anything to suggest the scammers issued a charge that was fair.
I am not exactly sure what it is you are asking for but I believe it is now outside the remit of this forum.

The only offensive thing I have seen on here is that you tried to pay a scammer who are know to have been banned by the DVLA in the past for dodgy practices.
Supporting these scumbags with cash payments encourages them to scam more innocents, as stated, your displaying of a blue badge is only a courtesy to help their incentivised staff to easily do their job, it is not a legal document except on the public highway.
