CCJ - 6 years is nearly up.

Hello all,
I ended up with a CCJ from a private parking company back in Feb 2014.
The CCJ was for the ridiculous amount of just £145.
This was paid off in full in August 2014 when I discovered it had been issued.
So at least it was showing as 'settled' on my file.
This blip on my credit report has caused me so many problems it us unreal. I will be so glad to see the back of it.
Anyway, my question is this....once the CCJ drops off my report...do I have to declare this on any paperwork going forward as technically the CCJ wont exist?
Have you ever has any CCJs or defaults? Seems to be a common question nowadays.
Many Thanks
E.

If you're asked, yes.0

My point is though no one can ever prove it existed. File check will come back as clean.0

They can still find out through other means.0

How exactly? You can't just say by other means and not explain.0

Enook, it might be worth seeing if you can get this removed. Complex at this stage but did you not receive notification of court action? Someone with more expertise will be along shortly.0

they cannot now ask for a setaside0 -
Court judgements are usually a matter of public record so it might be feasible to check that way. It will technically still exist but should be settled so shouldn't impact your ability to get credit. Otherwise it'll all depend on the exact question asked I suspect - if anyone ever asks about having CCJs "in the last 6 years" vs "at any point" then you'll have to answer accordingly, or else be at the risk of having made a fraudulent declaration.0

It will drop off both your credit file and the public trust registry, so it shouldn't have an effect. True if a company does a check on you it won't show up, but any company you have had dealings with may have recorded you have a CCJ and so refer to these with future applications - wonder if a right to erasure could help?
Some companies, like Santander will ask if ever being bankrupt (even if 15 or 20 years ago), not sure many companies ask if ever got a CCJ, just if you have had one in the last six years.0 -
It is a private parking company not a financial institution, so unlikely to affect me in the way you describe.0

I have already paid, so impossible to set aside. Not long to go now.
I didn't receive some of the paperwork.....but as these court documents are sent via the normal postal service it is impossible to prove. That's why I never bothered...I did a lot of reading about this at the time. Everyone I spoke to said I had no chance.0
