Hey!
Me and my partner are about to start renting a flat together and we are after a basic joint bank account that we can both put in money for our bills and food shopping. Walt’s still having our own individual bank account for our daily lives.
Is there any joint bank accounts you would recommend that will do what we need?
Iv had a look but it made my head hurt 🤣
Thanks In advance

Any one will be fine.
Just open one where you bank.0 -
Just an obligatory note to make sure you are aware of the financial implications of opening a joint bank account and linking your credit files - particularly if you are both able to transact on the account individually and potentially withdraw the entire balance or max out the overdraft without the consent of the other party.
But otherwise see below: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/basic-bank-accounts/. Basically all basic accounts are the same so it doesn't really matter which one you pick. Some banks won't let you open a basic account if you qualify for one of their other accounts, however you can decline all overdraft facilities. It's usually easiest to open a second account with a bank you already have an account with for these sort of things.0 -
A Santander 123 LITE may suit.
