To save us all some time, is this one of those "Don't ask awkward questions, just agree with me" questions?

I’ve noticed a huge rise in new posters that get stroppy when the advice they ask for starts coming in but is not to their liking.

The giveaway for me is if their post has one or more of the following attributes:

    1. The question is posted in one long paragraph without punctuation or capitalisation and is full of spelling mistakes.

    2. The post begins with “Hi all/everyone”.

    3. The first sentence begins with the word “So”.

    4. The poster refers to “me and my wife/friend/partner etc”

    5. Two minutes on Google has validated their opinion on the solution anyway.

I think mods should just delete all posts that start with "so".

    To answer the OPs question.

It might well be a design fault but it doesnt sound like its making the car unsafe to drive so I doubt Merc are doing to issue a worldwide recall for that. You have a problem with your car so just go to a local indi and ask them if they can fix the problem cheaper than Mercedes.

Where did you buy the car?
