Where are all the other birds

Thanks all, we still do get bluetits after the peanuts we put out in a feeder, but even the bickering starlings who used to fight in groups of 20 or more over the suet fat blocks arent around... just seems quieter in general (may be normal for this time of year, never paid much interest previously)


We still see 2 or 3 ring necked parakeets which is nice, and the creepy jackdaws too that occasionally stop by like a scene from the film 'The Birds'

We get the odd jackdaw too, along with jays, never seen parakeets, although there are supposed to be some around

Loads here (rural Carmarthenshire) - large and small. Found a wren flying around indoors today

I live on the outskirts of a town, the magpies and crows regularly have turf wars over the many trees near my home.
