Hello,
I am in a bit of a pickle. I ordered a coin from Brady Exchange, for £12.98, which was paid in full through PayPal. By mistake, I out my address as No.14 instead of No.12. I therefore, did not receive my coin. I contacted them through email about not receiving my order, at the time I didn't realise I out the wrong address. I then found out 3 different deliveries were sent out (despite only ordering 1 coin, and not asking for a delivery of the first coin ordered either). I have now recieved a letter saying I owe them £80.88, which I am not pay now or they will pass my on to a 3rd party debt collector. I dont believe I owe them this money, however I dont know my rights in this site and what I should now do? Can someone help me?!?

*There was few mistakes in the first one*
Hello,!

I therefore, did not receive my coin. I contacted them through email about not receiving my order, at the time I didn't realise I put the wrong address. I then found out 3 different deliveries were sent out (despite only ordering 1 coin, and not asking for a re-delivery of the first coin ordered either). I have now recieved a letter saying I owe them £80.88, which, if I do not pay now, they will pass my on to a 3rd party debt collector. I don't believe I owe them this money, however I don't know my rights in this situation. What I should now do? Can someone help me?!?0 -
how many coins do you now have from them? (I assume you have collected them from your neighbour)
how many have you paid for?
If you have paid for less than you have, arrange for the return of the extra coins or pay to keep them0 -
I forgot to mention that nobody lives in No. 140

You have ordered one coin and they sent 3? I assume that you were signing up for regular deliveries of "collectable" coins or the such. If that is their terms then you agreed to it at the time of ordering. In regard to the delivery to 14 and not 12 they have followed your instructions, it is not their issue that you do not know your own address.0

No I think the 2nd and 3rd coins were sent after the OP complained about not receiving the first 2 attempts.0 -
Yes, that's correct. They sent the other coins after I complained I didn't receive the first coin. Also, I was not asked at any point in time about receiving any other coins, and I was not asked at any point to pay for these coins.0

When you said that you had not received the 1st coin. Did they update your address? When you spoke to them.
So have you now received the 1st coin?
I take it that the 2nd & 3rd coins are part of a collection. Which they clearly state on item description page.
"Comes with the opportunity to collect as many of the further collector edition first-issue British Coins as you wish, with no obligation or commitment."
They send them out. If you do not want them you send them back.Life in the slow lane0 -

What EXACTLY did you say to them? The full thing please, no edited highlights.0 -
No, my address wasn't updated and I not realise they would send out any other coins0

If the coin concerned was part of a collection then there would have been something in their terms and conditions about extra coins being sent out on an approval basis when you initially placed the order.
This is something that is fairly common with this sort of company.0
