How to enter

For your chance to win an adventure in Lapland, we want you to design an awesome space vehicle for the long journey to Mars! You could be on board for up to eight months, so think about all the things you’ll need! The ship should have life-support systems (you’ll require food, oxygen and water), enough space to work, rest and sleep, plus plenty of entertainment. What other equipment or robots might be useful?

Either build your space vehicle out of LEGO bricks and take a picture of it, or draw your creation. Then upload your entry below.

Make sure you write your name, age and email address on your entry, plus a short description of your vehicle. You can label it too if you like. Good luck!

Prize

If YOUR space transport design is chosen as our winner, you’ll zoom off to Harriniva, Lapland, with Family Travel Experts Activities Abroad for four nights. There you’ll see spectacular starry views of the night sky – you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights while glamping in your Aurora Dome. Plus, you’ll hang out with reindeer and huskies, and will take a thrilling snowmobile ride! You’ll also bag all seven sets in the LEGO City Space range. Awesome!

First prize includes flights, transfers, guided activities and four nights’ half-board accommodation for up to four people.

Twenty runners-up will scoop a LEGO City Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control set plus a six-month subscription to Nat Geo Kids magazine!

Who is eligible

The competition is open to children under the age of 12 who are resident in the UK and Ireland
