Roof felt repair?

What's the best fix for this as the water is coming down the roof tile & then leaking down to the ground from behind the gutter? It's just that small section missing so is there any way to patch it up somehow?

The felt is just a backup, water shouldn't get through the tiles to the felt. The bottom edge of the felt around most of my house has rotted away but I don't get any problems because of it.
Do those tiles come far enough over the gutter or is it dripping off them behind the gutter?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
^^ This, and that down pipe adaptor needs screwing to the fascia board. If there is a gap behind there that could be part of the problem, You may be able to stuff a bit of felt up there and hope for the best but for water to get down the back of the gutter something is not designed right.0

Is it possibly leaking through the gutter joint?
Best repair for the felt is some eves trays slid underneath. It's usually just the last few inches that perish.

Most of the houses in our street are now 30 years old and have staining down the fascias where the felt has rotted and the water falls short of the gutter.
The solution is the eaves trays mentioned above fitted under the bottom tow of tiles.0
