Hi
This is my first post i need a bit of advice i have a ASUS WL-600G router, i am trying to connect my Hp ipaq 6515 to internet via WIFI but this i cannot get it to do. I have a laptop that works wirelessly no problem. My Ipaq has an SD wireless card. The Ipaq picks up the signal for the router and when i try to connect it it just says connecting for a longtime before the signal is dropped and is showing up my router as an access point as available again. I would be grateful for an answer in plain English as i do know about computers i am not completely au-fait with technology. Thnaking you in advance

Does your router have any security in place (WEP, WPA etc?)
Any MAC filtering in place??
My smarphone isn't so smart at connecting to wireless networks.
It will never ask for a password, I have to manually configure it completely for it to connect.0 -
As Chr15 said on older versions of windows mobile the wifi configuration wasnt very good you are much better configuring the connection manually.0
