eTyres in receivership?

I used to use eTyres bacause if I contacted my local branch directly by phone, I'd get the tyres even cheaper.
Last time I called them, the Oxford branch (44 miles away) answered the phone and explained my local branch had their eTyres franchise revoked as they were running a secondary business offerering customers cheaper tyres!
Today I've had an email from "Buzzy Bee Tyres" saying they used to be eTyres but, since eTyres is now in receivership, they've set-up as an independent.
I can't find any info about eTyres being in receivership. Is this a con? Sounds to me like they've saved details of eTyres' customers and are trying to steal them.

Well I'd never heard of e-tyres but the business model is quite common nowadays, the Birmingham number announces it is disconnected.0 -
Look at the eTyres website, and it says it's Electronic Tyres Online Ltd.

Not in administration...
But only founded last month.
So they've probably been through a pre-pack.
Either way, it won't affect their depots, because they were a franchise op.0 -
So is an ex-franchisee able to contact the customers of the main company?
Doesn't this come under GDPR? I didn't give authroisation for Busy Bee Tyres to have my email address (and I would imagine name, address, number etc.)0 -
etyres is in administration and liquidators appointed on 2nd October

Try RAC tyres; I've always found them ok0

I used them last in April with the usual good service. Shame, will have to source a reliable replacement for mobile fitting.0

It'd involve a lot of commercially-confidential paperwork to find out whether it was legit or not, that's for sure.0 -
No surprise going into admin/remodel if their franchisees are undercutting them after getting referrals...0
