Induction hob broken

I have inherited (House sale) an dual gas and electricity range cooker. There is also an induction hob that usually has a big heavy griddle on top.
The induction hob glass is smashed so I’m wondering if it’s safe to keep as part of the cooker or I need to buy a new cooker? I also don’t have the original griddle.

Doesn't sound like it would be safe to be, I'd get rid.0

What make and model is it, how old is it and what general condition is it in?
If it is an otherwise clean and decent range cooker then find out the cost of repairing it with a new hob or glass and griddle and compare that to the cost and desirability of a new cooker.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
Sadly I’ve searched high and wide and I can’t find the replacement part.

Ideally the part should be removed or disconnected.0 -
Apparently it was a 2-zone ceramic hob rather than induction, but that doesn't help any.0

I think I’ve wrecked the RCD as now it won’t go on. I took of the glass from the cooker, must have caused issues.0
