Can I use PD oil in my car?

I have a BMW 320D EFFICIENTDYNAMICS 2010 2.0 DIESEL, 4 Door SALOON with N47D20C engine.
I've just bought TRIPLE QX Fully Synthetic (For PD engines) Engine Oil - 5W-40 - 5ltr from Euro Car PARTS

Would this PD oil be suitable for my car or could it cause damage?

Thanks.

With modern oils it's not just about the viscosity, the ash rating too, if your car requires a low soot oil then use that .

Yes, they have tiny channels for oil to get to turbos, soot can block up those holes.

Look in your handbook for the specification required and then look at the label on the can, if the specification is on there then yes, if not then no. It is as simple as that. The oil you have is to BMW LL04 spec so is suitable for many but I can't tie in the engine type to the exact model spec as the listings go by the engine power.
