Ideal world online shopping -URGENT

I’m a member of Ideal world and I’ve used their flexipay service to purchase some larger items.
I’ve paid the first instalment, but the second has defaulted according to them. I’ve checked my bank accounts which have said that some 2nd payments haven’t even been attempted by them & a couple of others have been tried on the wrong dates - each instalment is meant to be the same date each month.
I’ve now got 5 letters from them demanding immediate payment of the ‘missed’ instalments that they specifically say that they’ve attempted twice! They’ve not even attempted once - this information is the same for both debit cards that I’ve used for purchasing, if it was just the one card I’d be more confident approaching them, however my 2 banks are definitely stating that these payments have not been requested!
Ideal world are adding an £18 charge for these 2 ‘attempts’ at payment, so even though they haven’t attempted these payments they’re now adding £18 charges. Not only that they’ve calculated new payment schedules where they will take a payment on for example the 18th October & then another payment 2 days later! Basically this would cripple me financially & as I’m physically & mentally disabled, it is having an adverse affect, and ideal world are making false charges and assertions that are detrimental.
I’m trying to work out how to approach them as I’m too anxiety driven to discuss this on the phone. I have one print out from 1 bank showing that they’ve not attempted payments & I spoke to my other bank who have confirmed this verbally.
Sorry for the long post, but I’m seething about the way that they have made claims that are incorrect & then added charges on top of these claims & set up a schedule where they’d take over £300 in the course of 2 days! I’m not disputing the fact that I need to make the payments but the fact that they are trying to charge me without reason & the extortionate payment schedule has me panicking & is affecting my mental & physical health as both are known to be affected by high stress like this.
If anyone has any advice or can point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful!
Thanks in advance

Banks are not unknown for being wrong/in the wrong. Mine have been recently and they've paid me ~£150 for being so. Pay what you owe ASAP and move on and stay healthy.0
