Next step is definitely to keep on at your solicitor and the EA to get to exchange of contracts as quickly as possible. Only then will you see if your seller is going to go through with exchange without having a purchase lined up.
I sympathise hugely because I struggle with anxiety too, so have a hard time during house moves. I know it's hard but you have to remind yourself constantly that it's the anxiety putting these thoughts in your mind - not actual problems that need to be dealt with. Speak to your GP if it's bad and you're not being treated as there are medicines that will help. Use the Headspace app to do some meditation each day. Use any other techniques you have for managing the anxiety (I picture my panic as a little gremliny monster following me around, hopping around and grumbling about worries - I have conversations with him (he has a name!) when he's getting out of hand
).
Thank you for your kind words @pinkteapot means a lot 💕
I understand exchange to completion now. It does seem like I’m quite far from exchange at this stage 😅0 -
I don’t have a clue, that’s why I’ve posted on here 🤦🏻!♀️
We can give you lots of help then but I'd still encourage bringing in a reliable real life friend, relative, colleague who is 'on the ground' with you.
Estate agents can be good but will often tell you anything and everything is normal and ok and you need a reliable filter. Solicitors tend to be reactive and rather 'minimalist' with their communication.
Lets hope your vendor proves reliable with the commitment to sell regardless now and things get moving soon
